Granite Collection

Indian Granite is an intrusive igneous plutonic rock formed through the slow crystallization of felsic magma beneath the Earth's crust under extreme pressure and heat. Quarried across the crystalline Precambrian shield formations of Southern India (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana) and Western India (Rajasthan and Gujarat), India holds one of the largest, geologically diverse reserves of commercial granite in the world.Unlike sedimentary sandstones or calcareous limestones, granite is defined by an interlocking crystalline matrix dominated by quartz (20%–40%), alkali feldspar, plagioclase, and mica (biotite/muscovite). This structure provides extreme structural density (2.60–2.85g/cm3), exceptional compressive strength (180–250 MPa), Mohs surface hardness of 6–7, and near-zero open porosity (< 0.40%).Globally certified under European CE standards (EN 1341, EN 1342, EN 1469, EN 12057), Indian granite is the international benchmark material for heavy-axle vehicular roads, civic plazas, train stations, airport concourses, commercial curtain-wall facades, and luxury kitchen countertops.
