Sandstone Collection
Formed hundreds of millions of years ago through the gradual sedimentation of quartz grains bound by natural silica and iron oxides, Indian Sandstone is an internationally recognized material for exterior landscaping and urban streetscapes. Extracted primarily across Rajasthan’s historic quarrying regions—including Kota, Bundi, Bijolia, and Dholpur—this sedimentary quartzitic stone provides structural durability, dimensional stability, and natural character. Whether designing contemporary residential terraces, historic estate renovations, high-traffic civic walkways, or heavy-duty driveways, our export-grade Indian Sandstone delivers reliable performance across harsh seasonal climates.
Multi-Colour Sandstone (internationally marketed across the UK, Europe, and Australia as Kandla Multi, Rainbow Multi, Autumn Blend Multi, or Indian Multi Sandstone) is quarried across the prolific Bijolia–Bundi–Bhilwara belt of Rajasthan. Unlike single-shade materials, Multi-Colour Sandstone showcases natural sedimentary transition layers, fusing warm desert buffs, soft purples, terracotta reds, earthy chocolate browns, and cool steel-grey tones across each piece. It is one of the highest-volume export varieties for hardscape contractors because its rich chromatic variation effortlessly disguises outdoor garden debris, fallen leaves, and vehicular tire marks.
Extracted from the Vindhyan supergroup formations in the Bijolia–Bundi–Kota belt of Rajasthan, Golden Brown and Desert Gold represent the two distinct warm-spectrum pillars of the Indian sandstone export industry. While Golden Brown delivers an earthy, rustic cocoa-tan balance preferred for traditional and heritage landscapes, Desert Gold provides a bright, sunny honey-ochre aesthetic tailored for modern Mediterranean terraces, pool surrounds, and contemporary developments.
Gwalior Mint is naturally divided into two commercially distinct export selections: Fossil Mint (Character Grade): Features naturally formed, delicate fern- or leaf-like fossil dendrites across the light cream face (iron and manganese mineral crystallizations created during sedimentation). Highly prized in the UK for unique natural character. Plain Mint / Mint Beige (Clean Uniform Grade): Screened to minimize or exclude fossil dendrites, providing a consistent, clean ivory, pale buff, and warm cream canvas. Preferred for modern architectural villas, pool surrounds, and commercial developments.
Modak Pink is famous for its lively warmth. In grey, overcast northern European climates, it creates an inviting, sun-warmed patio atmosphere. When wet, its blush and terracotta tones deepen dramatically into a rich reddish-amber glow. Traded as a high-character multi-stone, Raveena Brown bridges the gap between warm browns and cool purples. Its continuous fluid ripple bedding gives every slab a distinctive landscape texture that masks garden dirt, debris, and tire scuffing.
The hardest and most chemically resistant natural sandstone in India. Completely inert to acids, alkalis, and oils. Highly sought after for industrial battery/chemical floors, commercial plazas, and heavy-duty European streetscapes. Superior workability and grain homogeneity. The preferred global choice for intricate stone carving, CNC-milled lattice jalis, turned balusters, massive ashlar masonry blocks, and heritage restoration projects across the UK and the Middle East. High thermal insulation and uniform density make it the primary choice for exterior cladding panels, rainscreen facades, palace-style columns, pool copings, and smooth-sawn contemporary terrace paving.
Rippon Buff Sandstone (internationally traded as Camel Buff, Rippon Multi, or Rippon Rose) is quarried in Rajasthan, India. It is one of the highest-demand export stones for the UK and European landscaping markets, renowned for its luminous creamy-buff and warm ivory foundation interspersed with organic swirls of terracotta, peach, and distinctive purple/violet mineral veining. Its reflective tones brighten shady, north-facing outdoor courtyards and British gardens. With a dense silica-bound quartzitic structure, Rippon Buff provides exceptional weather resistance, zero risk of delamination under frost, and natural slip safety.
Rainbow Sandstone (internationally recognized as Rainbow Multi, Khatu Rainbow, or Violet Wave Sandstone) is a fine-grained quartzitic sedimentary stone quarried from the Khatu–Nagaur formation of Rajasthan, India. Unlike uniform monochrome stones, Rainbow Sandstone is defined by its dramatic, multicolored swirling strata. Natural concentric waves of violet, plum, fiery orange, golden ochre, and warm terracotta drift across a soft cream and buff foundation. Because it forms in thick, homogeneous beds without natural split cleavage, Rainbow Sandstone is processed using diamond gang-saws and wire cutters rather than hand-split. The stone is widely specified across the UK, Europe, Australia, and North America for contemporary landscapes, luxury pool decks, exterior wall cladding, and hand-carved garden architecture. When wet or sealed, the mineral striations become deeply saturated, creating a striking focal point in exterior spaces.
Teakwood Sandstone (internationally designated as Khatu Teak, Teakwood Yellow, or Golden Teak Sandstone) is a fine-grained quartzitic sedimentary stone quarried from the Khatu–Didwana region of Nagaur, Rajasthan. Unlike riven sandstones that split along uneven cleavage lines, Teakwood possesses a massive, homogeneous bed structure that is saw-cut on gang-saws. It is globally recognized for its signature timber-grain pattern: concentric loops, longitudinal rings, and sweeping bands of golden-brown and caramel iron-oxide mineral deposits set against a warm creamy-buff background. Its fine quartz matrix delivers balanced compressive strength, thermal stability, and low surface degradation under extreme sun and frost exposure. In modern architectural landscaping, Teakwood serves as a natural bridge between timber decking and stone masonry, eliminating the decay, warping, and frequent sealing required by real wood.
Raj Green (internationally marketed across the UK and Europe as York Green, Raj Blend, or Autumn Green Sandstone) is a quartzitic sedimentary stone quarried primarily in the Bijolia–Bundi–Bhilwara stone belt of Rajasthan, India. It is widely regarded as the premier export alternative to indigenous English Yorkstone, replicating its traditional warm character at a fraction of the cost. Raj Green features a dense silica-cemented mineral matrix that provides superior load-bearing capacity, near-impermeability to moisture, and full freeze-thaw endurance ($F1$ rating under European standard EN 1341). Its signature palette blends muted moss greens, olive tones, warm desert buff, and subtle khaki hues, creating a balanced, natural look that blends into garden landscapes and historic architecture.
Sagar Black Sandstone (popularly known as Ebony Black, Carbon Black, Charcoal Black, or Midnight Black) is a premium-grade Indian quartzitic sandstone featuring a rich, deep dark-grey to jet-black tone. Renowned for its exceptional durability, frost resistance, and uniform aesthetics, it is the top choice worldwide for modern landscaping, patio paving, and striking interior architectural designs.
